Radhika Yadav Murder Case: Deepak Yadav's Claims Fall Flat as Villagers Deny Taunt Allegations (Image Source: Social Media)
A new twist has emerged in the Radhika murder case. Accused father Deepak Yadav had claimed in his statement to the police that the villagers used to taunt him for living off his daughter’s earnings. To verify this claim, the local police summoned several residents of Wazirabad village for questioning. However, during the interrogation, none of the villagers confirmed this allegation. This revelation has raised questions about the credibility of Deepak’s statement.
According to police sources, even during remand, Deepak was repeatedly asked to name the individuals who had taunted him. However, he did not name a single person. This has led the police to suspect that Deepak made this statement either to save himself or to mislead the investigation. As per the police, if villagers had indeed taunted him, there would have been at least one witness.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the police team also took Deepak to Kasan village in Manesar on Saturday. Deepak had informed the police that he had hidden some bullets in a field there. Following this, the police searched both the field and a house, but nothing was recovered. This again exposed the falsehood of Deepak’s claims.
In an attempt to extract the truth from Deepak, the police called some of his close relatives to the station on Saturday. They hoped he would break down in front of his family. Though Deepak did become emotional upon seeing them, he did not confess anything. After a short emotional moment, he returned to his normal demeanor during questioning.
Following the murder, the police recreated the crime scene at Deepak’s house on Thursday. The police team asked him to demonstrate how he had shot Radhika. The entire sequence of events was reenacted on the spot to connect the dots in the investigation. Currently, the accused Deepak Yadav is lodged in Bhondsi Jail, and the police investigation is ongoing.
Gurugram Police have stated that no link in the Radhika murder case will be left incomplete. The conflicting statements of villagers and Deepak clearly indicate that the full truth has yet to come out. The police will soon file a chargesheet based on solid evidence and ensure justice for Radhika.
